Accomplishments Established/Running SolarWorld Planning & Supply Chain Processes, Chartered with developing and running all forecasting, master scheduling, production planning, and procurement processes and systems where none existed. Developed integrated global demand forecasting process with Sales and Mfg. Have worked with factory and production managers to change philosophy of production loading and establish internal supply chain planning. Established purchasing strategies for Materials group to align with new production planning processes, and developed inventory control methodologies leading to world-class inventory accuracy. Responsible for weekly and monthly S&OP process coordination and facilitation. Responsible for SolarWorld Customer Service/Order Management, Staffed and developed the customer facing order management function and team in the Hillsboro site. Developed new processes and policies dealing with order content, intercompany transactions, customer fulfillment, and product/customer allocation. Co-Led Intel Systems Mfg Supply Chain Re-engineering. Manual processes within Intel were leading to long supply/demand cycle-times, bloated inventories, and declining customer service. Developed more automated process design which reduced cycle-time. Personal program focus was on forecast process design and the selection and implementation of demand forecasting tools to align with new design. Reduced process cycle times 50%, inventories $200M, and improved on-time delivery from 70% to 95%. Led Intel B2B e-Commerce development. Intel began outsourcing production of board and system level products. Existing processes and systems required manual communication between Intel and sub-contractors, which were error-prone and required longer cycle times. Led design and implementation of Intel's first b2b e-commerce solution for sub-cons and suppliers, including demand forecast integration with production scheduling. Decreased cycle times and inventory 50%, and error rates 90%. Chaired Intel Demand Forecasting Process Improvement Program. After playing a critical role on the team that re-engineered Intel's customer facing structure, was requested to chair a program to improve and develop the processes and systems for Intel's demand forecasting areas. Delivered a new forecasting infrastructure architecture that allowed seamless flow of forecast information from Field Sales all the way to Factory Planning, for the first time at Intel. Staffing and development of the OMS team working with the team and Sales organization to define policies related to purchase order receipt and sales confirmations.
