of Experiences Instructional Systems Designer / Site Lead 2012 - 2018 Worked for three separate organizations creating an updated curricular design for a US Navy training school Engineering Services Professionals (ESP), Lockheed Martin Technical Services, and Leidos Innovations assigned to the Naval Nuclear Laboratory Bettis site, West Mifflin, Pennsylvania. In a consulting role, responsible for providing Instructional System Development (ISD/MIL-HBK-29612) expertise for applying processes and procedures in the Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation phase activities to customer and team members at two work sites (Pennsylvania and New York). Specific responsibility was to provide functional recommendations and documentations for a US Navy training program's conversion to a blended delivery approach for the five integrated crew positions. Activities included the completion of initial curricular and training support configuration: curriculum and lesson design parameters formative, summative, and operational evaluation processes and metrics learner and program assessments courseware production and delivery considerations, standards, and scheduling quality assurance process and procedures and functional specifications for the Training Management System/Learning Management System/Learning Content Management System (TMS/LMS/LCMS). Additionally, provided organizational liaison to team members, maintain an aggressive production schedule during configuration transition (e.g., storyboard and script builds, quality assurance reviews, etc.), respond to customer ISD process questions, and provide progress data to customer project lead. As site lead, created and maintained a positive working relationship between organizational Program Management and Functional Managers with the various customer functions at both work sites. Human Performance Improvement Engineer/Project Manager 2000 - 2009 Staff Human Performance Engineer of Instructional Systems Design and Development, Lockheed Martin Simulation, Training and Support (LM STS), through the Orlando, Florida site to various client sites. In the role of an intra / inter-company consultant, responsible for managing and executing the application of Instructional Systems Development (ISD/MIL-HBK-29612) and Defense Systems Approach to Training (DSAT) principles and processes to develop blended learning deliverables for multiple training systems (e.g., maintenance and aircrew training system, emergency operation management, integrated logistics software, specialized equipment, etc.). Blended deliverables include interactive multi-media levels 1 through 4 with the integration of part-task training and full simulation leading to actual equipment (e.g., aircraft, vehicle, computer systems, etc.). Additionally, developed methods for courseware conversions support procedures and job aids for subject matter experts developed curricular design parameters to include Shareable Content Object Referenced Model (SCORM) considerations defined knowledge management considerations for training management systems (TMS) / learning content management systems (LCMS) defined appropriate evaluation levels (Kirkpatrick and Philips) interpreted government contractual / compliance documents participated in intra-company and client strategy, negotiation, design, and development meetings contributed to proposal efforts and provided technical input to the LM STS methodology and knowledge management system. Responsible for managing the development and operationalization of methodologies and processes for the implementation of Performance Improvement concepts to include project management, ISD processes, evaluation metrics, skills management, knowledge management, internal support training, and logistic considerations for domestic and international deployment for 250+ franchises. Additional activities include standards development, program scheduling, inputs to budget and staffing, and customer support for domestic and international franchises for their customer services.
