COVER LETTER: Please accept this cover letter accompanying my resume for your consideration. As you may conclude, from my broad cross-section of work experience in different geographical and contextual environments. I have had an illustrious career in providing positional leadership in various and multiple work experiences. I have enjoyed every situation where I functioned at elevated levels in distinct organizations However, the most significant and valuable learning has been gaining profound respect for the varying perspectives of our society in totality, and to appreciate those points of view as the building blocks of the greatest country in the history of mankind. Through this skill set I plan to continue to seek the opportunity to enhance and facilitate growth in the work environment within the context of your organization. These experiences and acquired appreciation have endowed me with skills which only experience and maturity can yield. These are the qualities I believe that our work environment sorely needs as the present "four generational workforces" continues to evolve. These different and valuable societal perspectives, when merged synergistically, have the potential to unleash another powerful wave of advancement for financial and social evolution. Leadership is not always positional this I learned years AGO! I want to bring my emotional, experiential, and teamwork-outcome based skills set to bear in a future learning and excellence seeking organization. I have alluded to skills several times, and I will specify a few for your consideration: * Communication-timely, thorough and repetitive communication is rare. In this age of technology driven-EVERYTHING, most people are saturated with information of all types. In order to make a message resonate across our broad spectrum of workforce perspectives, the human factor has to be a part of the equation! * Respect- for differing opinions is essential for engendering fellowship. Once most individuals feel as though their opinion has been heard and considered, they will follow directives, even when they do not agree. * Leading by example-is one of the most valuable learnings which I have acquired during my working career. Our contemporary workforce does not respond to authority without believing that leadership is fair and consistent. "Walk The Talk" is what a superior of mine years ago demanded of all of his subordinates. * Empathy- is a characteristic which must accompany authority. The flip side of this characteristic is also respecting authority and realizing follow ship is the bedrock of success! These perspectives, coupled with a desire to keep contributing to the evolution of our society, will be invaluable to the growth of an organization where I can make a substantial difference in a supportive role.
