CollapseResponsibilities

Tear down and inspect all rotating equipment that comes into the shop providing detailed precision measurements using micrometers, calipers and dial indicators. Then check against OEM standards and tolerances. I then record everything with written, typed documentation and take detailed pictures with notes. After I have scoped the job I go over it with upper management and customers so that we can make the decision to repair or replace parts by either machining them ourself or order them. Then rebuild the equipment to OEM tolerances and standards while checking the proper tolerances and clearances using precision devices and do a final QC of the equipment and ship it back to the customer for field instillation done by their employees or we can go set equipment and perform the final instillation using laser alighnment under .002 of an inch allowing for thermal growth if applicable.
