Registered Nurse
I have been a Registered Nurse since 1978. Most of my experience has been in psychiatric nursing, six years in an adult and adolescent psychiatric facility, two years on a Drug and Alcohol Rehab unit and a year and a half at Liberty Hospital in Skilled nursing. After leaving the work force to raise 5 children, I took a RN refresher course, including an eight-month preceptorship, which I did at Menorah Medical Center on a Med-Surg unit. I then worked in the Eating Disorder Clinic at Children's Mercy Hospital and Clinics, for 41/2 years. I am now a Nurse Educator for TEVA Pharmaceuticals.
