Highlights:

Automatic Eject System. This was used in high temperature steam wells to shoot radioactive tracer into the wells for well integrity measurements. It reduced the time in half as far as completion and allowed us to double our temperature range from 300 deg. F to 600 deg. F. Developed new hardware to read previously unaccessable wells using my and my teams ideas. These would be a highly profitable tools used in a well as it was small enough to be inserted into wells that our regular tools would not fit into. Our oilfield customers would pay handsomely for us to survey their wells with our tool as it would allow our customers to legally put these wells back into service, to satisfy D.O.G requirements, and not have to spend millions to drill new wells while capping these wells off. I developed a new pc board for our temperature tools that ran on negative voltage. I selected all components and when tested and put into service our company gained the upper edge on high temperature surveys,( up to 600 deg. F). There was alot my staff and I worked on and have to be proud of.

CollapseResponsibilities

Managing projects for new tool development. In charge of a team to make this happen as well. Provided strong technical leadership or mentoring for my staff. Oversaw the whole operation and made corrections were necessary, and therefore seeing the completion of a number of finished products for use by company engineers to complete each job as needed. The oilfield logging surveys we did with these new tools were previousely not attainable as no tool to measure these parameters existed on the market at the time. I am proud to have been a part of these projects. I had a great team with great ideas to assist me.
