My Masters degree at Northeastern University and my co-op experience at EMD Serono, Inc and research experience at Boston Children’s Hospital and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center has helped me to improve my research skills as well as my analytical abilities. Such research exposure in both industry and academia has helped me gain confidence that I could make a strong contribution to the research and development group. My work experience in both the Industry and Academia includes: • Operating robotic instrumentation for automated and semi- automated bioassays. . • Designing, executing and validating experimental designs for plate based biochemical assays. • Implementation of immunological and cell culture techniques during investigation of the effect of chemotherapy induced axonal neuropathy. • Testing of bioanalytical techniques like HPLC and LC-MS in the field of proteomics for biomarker discovery and validation. • Biological data analysis using computational biology softwares and online tools along with bio programming languages. • Additional tasks included work in the molecular biology laboratory and literature surveys for the related projects. • Document experimental results using Electronic Laboratory Notebook (ELN). • Close cooperation with lab personnel and technical department in order to improve overall performance.
