Started out in the accounting field with a decided leaning toward Information Technology. As I progress in my career, I began to get more request to do IT/Data Analyst work as it related to Accounting. With the increased number of request also came an increased interest in Management Information Systems. Upon completion of my Bachelors in Management and Accounting, I decided to venture into the world of Management Information and so pursued a Masters degree in the field. I have since been employed at firms where my accounting experience has proved invaluable and coupled with my passion for IT I have been able to realize the dream of having a career I truly enjoy: a marriage of IT and Accounting, and been able to prove myself a worthy practitioner and an invaluable resource.

Recently completed a 6 month contract at a prestigious mortgage insurance firm where I was the lead data consultant during an intensive internal/external audit of loan performance data. In this role I was able to redesign and implement improvements in the data management and reporting process that increased efficiencies by over 300%, and create and distribute training manuals for the loan performance data processing system that decreased the training period from 7 days to 2 days.
