Seeking a position as a Quality Technician. Constellium - Van Buren, MI March 2014 - Present Quality Technician * Check first off pieces for each machine in a table gauge using calipers, micrometers and go & nogo gauges. Answer floor calls, check trucks incoming material such as chemical compensation, measurement and for any damage. Communicating with supervisors, team leads, maintenance and production operators for quality and machine issues. Training for PPAP and GD&T. * Pulling samples from plant floor. Cutting samples using auto and manual mill machine. Testing cut samples parts and rivnut using Introns program. PPAP, Tested rivnut with Torque for Tesla. Red bin review. Enter oven load sheets, incoming material sheets and red bin sheets in Cab's. Creating Defect catalog, quality alert for confirming & non confirming parts. Cross section. Running CMM machine to test a part using probes, recording xyz to determine size and position. Production Machine Operator * Loading and Unloading Machines in the fixture. Performing production and Quality (hourly) checks, read blueprint, check welded parts, SPC dimension using calipers, micrometers for Flexes, CNC mill and BMW Machines. Changing over to L and R side and making any adjustment. * Operating Headlamp Assembly Machine using auto and manual gun. Making boxes, Inspected and Repacked BMW finished Good parts such as Beams, V-struts, R/L handed HL and APAssembly. Applying bar code labels to parts. Adjusted print labels machine for any issue. * Following all Environmental Health and Safety processes. Trained and evaluations in with CPR/AED and First Aid skills. Trained and inventory work. . Report good and bad parts to team lead daily sheet or shift Quality immediately. Clean production operation & work area daily.
