RssSenior manager - 25 years experience- Federal construction administration

I received a BS in Landscape Architecture from Colorado State University and have been a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects. I have spent most of my professional career in Alaska working with various construction companies and government agencies such as Parks and Recreation, Army Corps of Engineers, State Fish and Wildlife, Anchorage clean water board, Department of Transportation and the EPA. I have been involved with design and construction project management of countless projects in many capacities ranging from public recreation facilities, parks and trails, to large-scale highway projects. I have actively engaged the protection of the environment through constant awareness and mitigation of construction projects from a field position as well as design. I have completed designs and implementations to include riparian re-vegetation, re-forestation and erosion control and protection, habitat enhancement for salmon spawning, in stream work and storm water discharge treatment. I have over 20 years of project management experience and have dealt with the needs and desires of many different interests and have successfully balanced them to achieve goals. I now want to use my experience in engineering and project management to become involved in reclamation and protection of our environment.
