Experience in small to large size environments which require a more “hands on” approach to leading the daily activities of the accounting function. Willing to “roll your sleeves up” to get the job done. On my last two assignments, developed a monthly rhythm to achieve a quicker closing process without losing financial integrity. 2.) Experience in streamlining the accounting process by reducing the closing process cycle but maintaining financial reporting integrity. Most recent experience resulted in reduction in the closing process from five to two days. 3.) Experience in developing and formatting a monthly financial reporting package to be issued to senior management. This package is aimed to help the company achieve their financial goals and objectives by giving senior management financial information to make decisions for both short and long term goals of the company. 4.) Developed monthly and annual budget process for company’s senior management. This process went down to the detail departmental level. Coordinated all department managers to be part of this process for ownership of the budget process. 5.) Developed a long range strategic process to enable the company to look out from one to three years to ensure financial growth and stability. This process is part of the annual budget process to ensure the company meets short term objectives. This information is gathered from all senior management so the entire team owns their part of the company’s strategic plan. 6.) Overall leader of the financial areas of the company. The belief that the customers are internal, giving management timely and correct financial information so management can make informative decisions to ensure achieving the company’s goals and objectives. 7.) Able to work with other members of the company in a team environment to gather pertinent information to perform financial or operational analysis.
