I have over six (6) years experience working in the Healthcare Insurance field, ranging from delegation oversight for external vendors, auditing, Medical Records, Quality Management review, QI reporting, presentation analyses and accreditation review for the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). In addition, I have over 14 years experience in the telecommunications field along with three degrees (AA, AAS and RMA) working in various roles ranging from: 1) Assistant AA to the President and six (6) VP's of the company 2) Senior Benefit Specialist - responsible for educating all employees re: requirement and qualifications of the FMLA law 3) Equipment Logistics Manager - Primary contact in support of Project Mgmt, Sales and Operations on all equipment implementation issues for major vendors, suppliers and customers. 4) Senior Billing Manager - Responsible for negotiations with vendors re: disputed charges, late fees, credits, overpayments, collections and disconnects of circuits and tax related issues. 5) Medical Record Field Reviewer - Abstracting and reviewing Medical record criteria for the annual HEDIS study for pertinent measures such as: Diabetes, Cancer, Prenatal/Postpartum, BP, Care of Older Adults, Child and Adolescent Well Care. 6) Proficient in MS Office Suite (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint); Sharepoint/MOSS, Crystal Reports and other various software and databases related to member and provider benefit information. I am currently pursuing my BS in Healthcare, which I will obtain in 2009.
