Highlights:

 Created and developed the Community Services Department for Community Hospital of Ottawa.  Worked with committee to establish the CHO Foundation; provided ongoing marketing/public relations support to the Foundation.  Supervised Community Needs Assessment to determine consumer attitude and loyalty to Community Hospital of Ottawa. o Worked with hospital departments to address problem areas discovered during the assessment. o Developed “MyChoice” advertising campaign to address the issue of consumer education and loyalty.  Procured and analyzed various internal and external hospital data to determine market share and market potential in various medical specialties.  Partnered in community-wide needs assessment studies with United Way of Eastern LaSalle County.  Assisted in development of and marketing for the CHO Foundation to help garner funds for Community Hospital of Ottawa programs and services  Assisted in development of and marketing for The Family Room for low-income pregnant women and their families.  Developed the CHO Star Baby Program for expectant and new parents.  Developed CHO’s Celebrate Health Program for Women o More than 1,000 women have joined the Celebrate Health mailing list through an opt-in postcard o Attendance at monthly meetings averages over 100 women.  Played an active role in the development of The Women’s Center at Community Hospital of Ottawa; provided marketing support and development help for the Women’s Center’s Annual Run/Walk for Cancer Awareness.  Developed all marketing materials for Corporate Membership Drive that resulted in a 25% increase in corporate members in four months.  Designed and implemented strategies to increase market share for various hospital departments.  Planned community events and program activities to help increase awareness for hospital programs and services.  Provided weekly live “CHO Update” on local radio station.  Served on and chaired the Employee Recognition Committee.  Led the annual CHO Employee United Way Fund Drive, successfully increasing donation levels each year.  Planned and implemented numerous extracurricular activities for employees, including bus trips, game nights, swim parties and picnics.  Served on the Board of Directors of United Way of Eastern LaSalle County; served as Public Relations Campaign Chairman for two years; served on various committees including Marketing, Strategic Planning and Fund Allocation.
