Environmental Specialist and Consultant

I am currently an Environmental Specialist with two years of experience in the field of environmental consulting. During the past year, I have assisted in developing over forty-five natural gas pipeline corridors for a leading natural gas transmission company and have become familiar with the regulations and guidelines of the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA), the Clean Water Act (CWA), the Nationwide 12 Permit which is required for the open trenching of waters of the U.S. and the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). As part of the criteria for developing public utility corridors under the Nationwide 12 Permit, I also conducted biological evaluations, threatened and endangered species surveys, wetland and waterway reports, reviewed floodplain regulations as well as conducted wetland delineations. As part of a larger team of individuals trained in a number disciplines, I also gained additional insight into the professions of pipeline engineering, project management, right of way coordinators, as well as survey and pipeline construction. In addition to developing natural gas pipeline corridors, I also conducted Phase I and II Environmental Site Investigations. While at my previous place of employment I conducted over seventy Phase I Environmental Site Assessments as well as gained additional experience in conducting Phase II Environmental Site Assessments/Investigations and Asbestos Surveys. I am interested in continuing to pursue a professional career in the environmental consulting industry and continue to build on the skills that I have already established.
