I was the first engineer at a global engineering company to work on a biotechnology project and successfully provide consultation and design of their first development and manufacturing facility (Genentech in San Francisco, CA - 1980) I had full responsiblity for the design and construction of a manufacturing facility; I save the project cost and schedule through technical and business decisions; I directed the process design of manufacturing and supports systems. The facility successfully started-up and manufactured drug product.
