The project I am most proud of in my professional career is a project I worked on with the Naval Surface Warfare Center. I led the testing portion of a coating that was being tested and used in Iraq during the war to safeguard against roadside explosives, IEDs, etc. After everyone's hard work was done, I found out several months later that our testing contributed to the use of something that at that time had saved approximately 40 U.S. soldiers' lives.
