RssMaster Certified Project Manager

I've been in 4 layoffs since 2003; although the severance packages have been helpful in keeping bills paid until I secured the next position....what is MOST important to me is STABILITY. I'd like to know when I accept a position that it is at least secure for 2 months, 6 months, 2 years. I enjoy surprises, but I can't appreciate the surprise of ANOTHER layoff.
