Eye Catch Errors
Ideally, I am looking for a job that will allow me to continue to telecommute, while expanding my skill set to include proofreading and editing. I've read novels that had surprising errors in them, and I would make it my mission to prevent from that from ever happening again. I am proud of the fact that while working as a temp for an area non-profit, I wrote press releases that members of the staff said looked no different from those written by an experienced professional. I had never written a press release before that assignment and haven't had an occasion to write any since. I was proud to have the first article I ever published - a personal profile - show up on the front page of the Home & Garden section of the local newspaper. |
