Experienced Engineering Manager

s a Manager I have built, organized, and managed mission critical teams to focus on critical projects and products. I have done this within Development, Test, and within a “Sustaining” environment jointly with Manufacturing teams. My managerial strength could be an asset as teams grow and mature. As an Engineer, I have worked directly with team members to isolate “road blocking issues”, to determine methods and means to resolve these issues, and to get projects, programs, and products back on course toward delivery. I enjoy the challenge of finding the root cause, be it within a development environment, a test environment, or a sustaining/manufacturing environment. I believe these skills would assist your teams, regardless of where the work is needed. Lastly, I’m always looking for the “low hanging fruit”. Often this can result in cost savings both to the company and to the customer. These can take form in Process changes, development methodologies, test enhancements, and manufacturing methods which help to improve and provide cost effective products. I believe as your company grows and matures this will become a necessity.
