  • Two month PC Rollout of new Dell’s with Global Image of Windows XP Professional. I was responsible for data migration of pst / user data files, peripheral configuration of recording devices, multimedia devices, and wireless cards. Implementing 802.11b, g, and n standards. Deploying command line for logon scripts, batch file IE5 file removal, and executables for Microsoft/Hummingbird passive integration. Software installations consisting of Microsoft Office and Adobe Professional suites. Imaging, building, configuring, troubleshooting and repairing; 250+ Dell Latitude D630's and Dell GX280 Desktops for user/partner specific operations. Including email profile creations and restorations with Outlook 2003. I also assisted in daily help desk support situations pertaining to LAN connection problems and some application support. Most of which were face to face with end user.

  • Assist Lead Engineer. I was responsible for building Windows 2k3 Servers, joining workstations to domain, planning, installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of hardware, software, and peripherals from hard drives to setting up video conferences. LAN configuration and implementation. I worked with Active Directory updating policies, creating, removing, and managing users. Some remote assistance was required. I had to share out printers and map networked drives. We worked mostly with Dell and HP desktops and laptops. I used disk management to create partitions for data loss prevention.

  • I performed such tasks as troubleshooting, installing, configuring, and repairing Windows 2000 and XP Operating Systems. Daily activities included hardware refreshes, upgrades, and installations of Hard Drives, Memory, Graphic Cards, Network Cards, and CD-ROMs. Providing Plug-n-Play and Legacy support. Installing, configuring and managing suites such as Microsoft Office 2003, Adobe Professional, and many other 3rd party programs. I was responsible for spyware / virus removal using a wide variety of programs and tools including Norton Antivirus, MacAfee, Zone Alarm, and Registry Mechanic. Lead installer for Linksys, Netgear, and Belkin wireless devices. Occasionally I would have to plan and install home entertainment systems to be networked with the LAN on the property. AV component installations, dual monitor setups, and patch cable creation were included in some of my activities. There were some custom pc creations using ASUS motherboards.
