My ideal job would provide an opportunity to be part of a great team, company, or organization. The company culture would be professional, yet relaxed and foster commaradarie, continued learning, integrity and value confidentiality with customers and company personnel. 'A day in the life as ...(my new job) will have meaning and purpose; seeing a project from inception through completion: having my day account for something; improving a product, a service, to see the fruits of my work. I am flexible; helping management and peers whenever there's a need, I thrive on 'tasks', 'projects', rather than just shuffling paper and putting files back into cabinets; the mundane and tedious office tasks. My passion is to be a part of of a product or service that adds quality to the lives of people and animals alike. I truly like working with people, and having some autonomy. In a day, if I can make someone's day a little brigther or easier by offering my assistance with a customer's question or delima, or something so simple unrelated to my professional sales or corporate climb, jut treating all people and customers with a smile, sincereity and a helpful heart, is what sets me apart from typical office and service workers. And, it's that level of personal service that sets great companies apart from average and mediocre business.

About Me

Industry:

Customer Service

Occupation:

Sales Assistant

Highlights:

One year I won Rookie Salesperson of the Year award. It was my first or second sales job. I sold merchant ads to grocery stores. In less than six months I was awarded the Rookie Salesperson of the year award/plaque. I am also very proud of my accomplishments at The Fountain Law Firm. There, I worked efficiently and dillegently in my research aspect of my duties. Orderd medical records & bills promptly, ensured timely receipt. Then reviewed clients records and bill in order to prepare their case, and settlement. At Charles Schwab I was proud of the fact that I litteraly had no experience serving as an Assistant Service Coordinator in the Facilities Dept. But I jumped right in, and learned the job very quickly. During my two year tenure, I helped assist over 4o national and local branch office; Needed services ranged from; HVAC, lighting, floor care, order or repair systems furniture & offic equipment, window cleaning; plant care, and housekeeping needs. In many cases, ven dors and contractors had not been established prior to my joining the Facility Department team. So as I was getting bombarded with customers building service requests, I relied on my genuine interest to help the branch managers get back to the smooth running of their office. My strengths are tennacity, delligence, resourcefulness to 'make things happen' I was very good at my job, and developed excellent working relationship with our customers and also our vendors and contractors. Firm but polite will work in 9 out of 10 cases. My good sense of humor was respected and very much enjoyed and appreciated. Over the course of my agency assignment, I greatly improved the relationships; confidence and respect towards our department. Surveys scale was 1 to 5 (w5 being the best) and l being the worst The cabinets were filled with less than stellar surveys; ltoo many surveys were covered with 1s, 2s, maybe a three. But as I found my place and my abilities working in the Facilities Dept, I began to see higher ratings mostly 5s. My sense of accomplishment was watching the branch managers and staff develop a relationship of trust, compentency, and genuine interst to their problems, and deliver solutions to them!
