Highlights:
I was one of the first certified AIDS educators in MA, provided AIDS education to hundreds of inmates at the Essex County houses of correction when my agency Project Rap, outposted me there. It was at times dangerous, and at times more rewarding than can be described, when infected inmates would ask me to speak to their SO's about protecting themself with in the relationship. I also worked in a methadone clinic, where I came to appreciate the struggles of the recovering addict more than I ever had. I have worked in an old state hospital and in fact was the nurse in charge of the beginning of de-institualization at Danvers State Hospital. I would be happy to discuss other career highlights in an interview.
Companies I like:
Blue Cross, Aetna, The Partnership,
Night Shift supervision of the company's respite/crisis center and performance of psych evaluations to prescreen for need for hospitalization on site in local ED's.
