  • I was in charge of the quality of a 12 hour shift. Doing in process Audits, recieving, and final inspections. I set up and verified gages. Some calibration.Reading complicated blue prints, G&D . Using a cmm, and other technical gages.Writing up DMR reports.the company made very technical and complicated parts costing thousands of dollars.

  • I perform roundness checks on 18 lines. I perform assembled goods audits, and type changes. Using masters, dial indicators, mandrels, contracer, round com, tally surf. I communicate with engineers, and type change set up persons, and quality assurance department heads. My job is to make sure that the automotive bearings for various automotive manufacturers, to name a few; Ford, Honda, Mitsubishi, and Chrysler, meet or exceed our customers expectations. Just to name a few, optical comparator, con tracer, universal tester, rock well tester, profilameter, thickness tester. Tools used in doing my duties; include tri-roller, dial indicator, torque wrench, micrometers, and calipers, dial indicators, thread gages. Achievements include a good quality record, 5-S principle-a place for everything and everything in its place, SDS training - Supplier development program, Kaizen training, ISO-9001: 2002 registered, ISO 14001 and ISO/TS 16949:2002 training. I was responsible for making sure the parts Rocknel Fastener made, met or exceeded their customer expectations.

Fadal-Mill, Siugino- Milling, Machine. I am familiar with G and M codes. I used live turrets, chuck and collates in my duties. I mastered using the correct instruments to check my parts for example optical comparator, profilameter, CMM, micrometers including pitch, hole, pitch, blade, depth micrometers. Calipers, dial indicators, also used these gages, height, ring, thread, pin, hole, and block gages. The company was an ISO 9000 certified and now is an ISO 9002 registered company. I also was asked to train operators on a regular basis. I also worked in the quality department, and did 100% sorts on parts that other people ran.

  • I headed the quality control of the new lines. I performed in line inspections, in process inspections and final inspections, dock audits and in process audits, keeping logs and data on defects and inspections. I was also part of a trouble shooting team, to come up with corrective actions. to solve problems, and was on a committee responsible for making improvements plant wide, in which we were successful in scrap reduction, cutting overtime, and improving employee and customer relations. The company made parts for Chrysler, Ford and General Motors.

I worked as a night manager at three of the restaurants in Rockford, while employed there. I motivated my employee�s, and came up with ideas on improvements at each of these restaurants: such as suggestive selling, employee relations and incentive programs, customer relations, and restaurant operations. I believe that treating a person whether it is an employee or a customer with respect and kindness is the best policy.I left this job because My friend got shot.At one of the other restuarants. I was a single parent at the time, I chose to change occupations.
