11/05 – 6/07 AZ Dept. of Economic Security – Program Service Evaluator Assist clients to find employment by assisting them with preparing their resumes, cover letters, and coaching clients with various items, including how to dress and present themselves when looking for employment. Give referrals to qualified clients for possible employment. Facilitate employers by finding qualified employees. Input Job Orders; update Job Orders, and various other office duties. Organize Benson job board keeping it current. Manage the Benson Job Service Office. Supervised and trained Title V employees. Utilize the Arizona Workforce Connection to document clients’ activities as well as to document employer services provided. Utilize the GUIDE system to pull up information on unemployment for clients. Assist clients with resolving issues with unemployment so that unemployment benefits may continue without delay. Create weekly Job List for Cochise County; email Job List out every Friday to various groups and individuals, including schools, churches, and libraries. Give presentations to various organizations to let the public know what Job Service is about and what we can do to assist them. Attend various functions, including Chamber of Commerce mixers, to inform the public about what services we can provide to assist them. Interfaced with employers by telephone and in person to acquire and to revise Job Orders. 7/05 – 1/06 Super 8 – Desk Clerk Accommodate hotel patrons by registering and assigning rooms to guests, issuing room keys, transmitting and receiving messages, documenting available rooms and guest's accounts, assisting with reservations, and presenting statements and collecting payments from departing guests. 2/05 – 11/05 AZ Dept of Economic Security – Volunteer Customer Service, assisted clients with job searching by assisting them with their resume, cover letters, and interview skills. Assisted clients with filing for their unemployment insurance benefits. 11/04 – 11/05 Saint David Unified School District – Substitute Teacher Substitute Teacher for grades K–12, including special education. Followed plans, monitored students, and assisted students with their work. 7/03 – 9/04 Burke & Associates – Administrative Assistant Interfaced with subcontractors and their insurance agents to verify that the insurance certificates were correct, checked subcontractor certified payroll, performed budget analysis between American Contractor and Expedition programs, when there was a discrepancy between the two, researched the problem and either corrected the problem or gave it to the proper party for correction, collected lien releases from subcontractors and their suppliers. Cost coded, change orders, proposal requests, RFI’s, interfaced with subcontractors regarding current insurance certificates, certified payroll and labor releases.
