Highlights:

Led effort to develop a 5-year strategic plan for a Behavioral Health Authority. Obtained stakeholder input through the facilitation of discussion groups and moderated the development of a SWOT (strength, weakness, opportunities, threats) analysis. Coordinated the strategic plan with participants, presented plan to executive management/board of directors, gained approval and published the plan. Results: Avoided contract penalty (up to $10,000 quarterly) with the State by meeting all requirements on time. Transformed a Quality Assurance program into a Continuous Quality Improvement program for a health care organization. Rewrote policies/procedures to emphasize Continuous Quality Improvement and trained unit managers. Published audit protocols and instructed unit managers to administer the protocols. Led audit team in conducting program reviews and published results. Results: Advanced the organization from 36th in the State to 1st place in risk assessment excellence, potentially saving $10,000 a month in contract penalties.
