To utilize my experience in the auto industry and as a minister and obtain a position with a stable, established company. Prior to going into fulltime ministry at age 33, I owned and operated my own business and worked in retail management and administration. While in college studying business administration, I worked for Fruehauf Trailer Corporation. (1976 - 1983) Duties with this company involved welding, tow motor operator, crane operator and general labor. During these years I also purchased a pet store in a downtown location. (Waynesburg, PA) After 3 years of operation, I opened a second store in a mall in Connellsville, Pa. Immediately prior to entering seminary, I was the sales manager for a chain of automobile repair shops in the Pittsburgh area. During that time, I was recognized as manager of the year working for Aamco Transmissions. I was ASCI certified as a mechanic, and became a working manager of a transmission shop (Scuro Transmissions) Eventually I was promoted to the sales manager of Scuro Transmissions. My responsibilities as sales manager included opening new stores for the company, establishing and maintaining all wholesale accounts in the Pittsburgh market, and insuring profitability of each local outlet. In addition to this, I have experience in general auto repair. As you look over my resume, you will also see that I have years of experience working with people in every conceivable situation through my different ministries. I resigned my position as sales manager to complete a Masters Degree at a school in Denver and entered into ministry. Since then I have helped lead individuals and congregations into positions of health and effectiveness. Throughout my life I have been a results-oriented, effective leader.
