During * Telaquana Weir, Lake Clark National Park: counting and monitoring sockeye salmon run, ASL data and genetic samples. Building and maintaining an off the grid field camp. Partnered and shared data with USFW. * Subsistence salmon harvest surveys: traveled to Alaska Native villages in the YK delta interviewing subsistence salmon fishermen and women about their salmon harvest. See Alaska travel experience. Conducted interviews one on one by going door to door. Worked closely with tribal councils and associations. Coordinated logistics. Entered survey data into database. Worked on reports. * Bristol Bay catch sampler: collected Age, Sex, Length (ASL) data, collected genetic samples from sockeye salmon for in-season management of Bristol Bay fisheries and for stock research biologist. * Traveled extensively for work in small aircrafts and boats * 6 years of field work for environmental consulting * Environmental permitting work for wetlands * Experience leading crews conducting field work my undergraduate I worked with my professor Dr. Matt Carlson collecting field data on an arctic mustard flower Parrya nudicaulis. Funded by a NSF grant.
