Highlights:

I have led sales teams in several vertical markets, all in which I had no experience previously. In every situation, I very quickly learned the industry and my sales teams delivered results well beyond expectations. "Industry experience" will only take a company so far. While it may be 'nice' the first few weeks or few months, the person who will make a long-term impact on bottom-line profits is the one who has the best sales skills and who has the ability to coach/teach/lead others. The question is would you rather have someone ‘good’ at coaching/leading who has direct industry experience or someone, like myself who has repeatedly proven he is extraordinary in leading sales teams, regardless of the industry?
