Trainer & Mentor, Inventory Management, Quality Control Guest & Vendor Relations, Eye for Detail Supervises, directs and manages all phases of Janitorial and GM operations. Manage the custodial work activities and operations for six (6) locations in Houston one located in Conroe TX. One located in Galveston TX. And one located in Lake Charles LA. Supervise and train custodial employees for all customer sites. Coordinate work schedules to ensure timely and effective completion of maintenance and care of buildings and offices. Coordinate and complete periodic services. Oversee and manage supplies and equipment inventory. Evaluate and implement programs and/or projects for the purpose of carrying out goals and objectives within area of responsibility. Participate in meetings workshops and seminars for the purpose of conveying and/or gathering information required to perform the job functions. Recommend policies procedures and/or action required for the purpose of providing direction for meeting the goals and objectives. Review prospective custodial candidates (e.g. screening interviewing etc.) for the purpose of making recommendations for hiring new custodial staff. Ensuring that assignments are being completed in a safe proper and timely manner. Managed all janitorial operations in a 1,450,000 sq. ft facility to include In- house Managed the back of the house operations to include Room inspections Perform daily Do- outs and arrivals to meet room reservations request Check for and initiate and input maintenance request maintain laundry operations to ensure cleanliness and appearance of rooms to include beds, curtains, bathroom/shower towels and soaps. Maintained all public areas to insure guest satisfaction. moves lawn care projects (stripping/waxing carpet care specialized OR and Surgery room cleaning). Staff selection/ensure proper orientation review and revise duty list manage supplies and equipment budgets along with labor cost controls Managed housekeeping and laundry associates to ensure optimal success in patient/employees safety infection control procedures facility cleanliness patient/client satisfaction established par levels for laundry and housekeeping supplies. Maintain environmental and laundry programs for enhancing the highest possible standards and good public/client relations and employee training.
