Summary of Experience CAD designer/operator experience working with architectural, structural, electrical and civil engineering. The projects involved types of waterfront structures including container terminal, oil terminals, recreational piers, Navy piers, ferry terminal, small boat marinas, transportation, rail yard and industrial facilities. Structural: * Prepared and modify CAD Drawings for commercial wharves, container terminals, recreational piers, ferry terminals, and marinas. * Revised CAD Drawings from field as-built drawings or sketches and create new CAD Drawings base on engineers and clients input. * Preparing detailed engineering drawings per project scope of work. * Worked closely with the Project engineers and design team. Electrical & Mechanical: * Prepared electrical, mechanical and architectural designs for facility or business modification and expansion projects. Civil: * Prepared final design and drafting for various commercial/residential projects, including proposal project exhibit, tentative tract maps, parcel maps, site plans, grading and profile plan. Architectural: * Prepared new design, custom build, room additions or commercial tenant improvements. Transportation: * Montebello Corridor Grade Separation project: Revised and modified CAD Drawings per engineers red line. * Lead CAD operator to prepare drawing plans and elevations for underwater inspections of over 65 bridges throughout the State of Washington, including several large bridges over the Columbia and Yakima Rivers. Rail: * Pier A Railyard Relocation, Port of Los Angles: CAD operator for conceptual through final design of paving and drainage improvements for 38-acre rail yard and lead track. * IMC Railroad Modifications, Port of San Diego. Design rail improvement which included demolition, construction plans for new wye track, pavement, drainage, track realignment and relocation of retaining walls and storm drain structures. Key Qualifications Experience in AutoCAD version 2016 and Microstation V8i designer/drafter with a great deal of experience in preparing drawings from conceptual through final design of the projects. Remarkable experience in preparing Site Plan, Parcel Map, Construction Drawings, Grading Plans, Land Plans as well as commercial, retail, and residential projects with the knowledge of UBC and NEC. * Over 28 years of AutoCAD and 6 years of Microstation design and drafting experience. * Knowledge of Auto CAD 3D, the use of Sheet Set Manager, Sheet Set Manager Editor program, File Reference (XRef), Caltrans CAD manual, Port of Long Beach and Port of Los Angeles CAD manual s. * Knowledge of Microstation Projectwise. * Strong ability to stay organized with multiple projects, complete detailed documentation with speed and accuracy on large-scale commercial projects and meets deadlines. * Excellent ability to do manual drafting. * Civil Drafting experience pertaining to land development, subdivisions, grading, sewage, drainage, concrete reinforcing rebar, and topographic maps. * Strong construction knowledge and detail skills.
