Daily Duties at Mayo Clinic:

• Supports nurse managers and patient care unit staff. • Assists in allocation of available staffing resources based on patient care needs. • Grants excused absences for unit secretaries, RN’s, and patient care assistants. • Assists in orienting nurse managers, nursing supervisors, and RN staff to staffing practices and procedural guidelines. • Helps in training fellow staffing assistants
